WILENTZ AND WILLIE

As noted in an earlier post, Princeton history professor Sean Wilentz's recent, and enviably well publicised, book Bob Dylan in America has a chapter on Blind Willie McTell. He was interviewed recently for the UK-based music magazine Word, and, asked about that chapter, he replied: "I was helped a lot by a wonderful biography by Michael Gray, Hand Me My Travelin' Shoes."
