I'm thrilled to learn that Hand Me My Travelin' Shoes: In Search of Blind Willie McTell has been shortlisted for the James Tait Black Prize for Biography. The winner will be announced in August. This is a really big and venerable part of the literary scene, and I'm in heavyweight company. As Bob Dylan sings, we'll just have to see how it goes...
