METRO REVIEW & AMAZON ACTIVITY

I'm very pleased to see that in this Tueday's Metro newspaper, the book is named Non-Fiction Of The Week, accompanied by a great reproduction of the classic 1920s studio shot of Willie McTell and a good review of the book, which ends like this:

“Gray has a music lover’s poetic appreciation for a great craftsman largely forgotten by history. A wonderfully tantalizing picture emerges of McTell as both a bluesman and as someone intent on transcending definition, be it by his blindness or his race.”

Meanwhile on Amazon.co.uk this Tuesday, the book shot into the top 200 sales rankings, and even into their Top 10 Movers & Shakers. Cor blimey!
